Logistics
- Travel to Girona is the responsibility of the delegate, there are direct flights to Girona, or Barcelona (99km south-west of Girona), provided by Ryanair, BA and Jet2
- Airport tansfers can be arranged, at an additional cost, please indicate this on your booking form
- Hotel bookings are the responsibility of the delegate, the educational activity will be at the Hotel Carlemany (4*) in the centre of Girona
- Evening meals will be arranged locally, they are not mandatory but are highly recommended. Due to local constraints we may use more than one restaurant per night (few restaurants in Girona can accommodate a group of 20+!).
- Group rides will be organised by Nicole Millar, who lives locally and has a team of knowledgeable and experienced guides to take out small groups (6-8) for rides of varying lengths and average speeds on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
- Group rides will include a coffee stop and/or lunch stop before being back in Girona in time for the educational programme
- The "non-riding" delegate fee is for those not wishing to ride whilst in Girona - don't worry, there are lots of other activities available
- Delegates are welcome to extend their stay after the educational activity ends.
- For those not wishing to travel with their bike, hire bikes are available from Eat Sleep Cycle, Rocacorba Atelier and Trek Bicycle Girona
- Non-anaesthetists are welcome to join our guided rides, please see the fees page
